Telu 2D Studio is a lightweight, Unity-style 2D game editor for Windows and macOS that exports ready-to-host HTML5 games.

Telu 2D Studio is a desktop 2D game editor built to be quick to learn and fun to use. If you've used Unity, the layout will feel familiar: Hierarchy, Scene View, Inspector, Assets, and Console — but much lighter and focused on one goal: making 2D games for the web.

DESIGN VISUALLY

Drag, zoom, and arrange entities right in the scene. Drop images from your computer into the scene to create sprites instantly. Grid snap, collider outlines, and a camera frame help keep your levels tidy.

READY-MADE COMPONENTS

Sprite (color, shape, image, or animated sprite sheet), Text, and Physics Body (static, dynamic, kinematic, and trigger) are all built in. The camera can follow the player with smoothing.

EASY SCRIPTING

Write your game logic in plain JavaScript using hooks like start, update, onCollision, onTrigger, onClick, and more. An API cheat sheet is available inside the editor, so you don't have to keep jumping back to the docs.

TEST INSTANTLY

The Play button runs your game inside the editor. console.log and script errors show up in the Console panel.

PUBLISH TO THE WEB

Build HTML5 produces a folder containing index.html, the runtime, and your assets. Just upload that folder to any host — itch.io, GitHub Pages, or your own server.

COMFORTABLE AS A DESKTOP APP

Projects are saved as .t2d files you can open with a double-click. Includes autosave, undo/redo, multi-scene support, and resolution plus pixel art settings.
